Kids peeling off wet clothes (they bobbed for apples) and kids going for the gold (power-wheels race down our giant hill).
We ended the day with gifts and the perfect "Thomas the Train" cake made by Jack's Grandma Champ (my Mama), which he absolutely loved. Well, really, everyone did because not a single piece was left over.
The day was filled with love, and although some people we really cared about couldn't be there, we know they were there in spirit. Jack knows how much he is loved. He is a very lucky boy. And I'm lucky to have him in my life. God blessed me with such a strong-willed, smart and funny boy. He will fill my years with many more silly, beautiful memories I'm sure.
Tomorrow is Jack's real birthday, the big THREE! Oy vey...
Tomorrow will be filled with love, which equals time in the world of children. And we intend on spending the day playing together, going for a walk, going to a park and maybe visiting a few relatives.
-a list of little things we should appreciate-
“Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.”
